A unique piece of architecture! Greatness is fascinating. However, there are disadvantages: in the audio guide, the explanation is not always given in the language in which the guide was taken. So half of my information was in Polish, I think. There are no other disadvantages, except for the huge crowd)
It's a great place, a wonderful museum. We walked with a stroller with a baby - ramps are provided almost everywhere. The ticket price for now (April 2024) is 1500 liras (4500r), of course, it is expensive. The price includes an audio guide in Russian and a visit to the harem. Clean territory. I enjoyed it
It's worth a visit if you're in Istanbul, but the entrance price is very biting. At the same time, it is difficult to figure out where everything is without a guide. We only went into the harem- I wonder if you're a fan of the TV series "Magnificent Century". There are many buildings on the territory itself and a beautiful view of the Bosphorus.
Very beautiful, big. It causes mixed feelings after visiting the palace. Jewelry and personal belongings of Sultans and concubines are collected here. An entrance ticket in September 2024 costs 1,700 lira or $50. The audio guide is primitive, there is practically no information, it is distracting, you need to leave your passport as a deposit to receive it.
An unusual place. There are many exhibits of clothes, jewelry, weapons. You can look at the Turkish interiors. Inside, you will have to stand in queues at the entrances to the halls. As of May 2024, admission for tourists costs 1,500 liras
Walk only with a good guide. Come to the opening. Children under 13 years old receive a 90% discount on admission, documents are requested, photos are available. Now many pavilions in the garden are open, the tour is becoming more extensive.
Clearly an overrated attraction. They paid 1,700 liras for a visit in October 2024. Most of the exposition is ordinary objects, you can look at a million cups and spoons, but almost nowhere will you be shown the interiors, the harem is entirely empty rooms. The information in the audio guide is very scarce and not interesting for such money, and the badges with numbers are not everywhere, I found out about some of them only by accidentally finding a map of the palace on the Internet.
5100 for visiting the palace and numerous queues in each room.. Everyone can choose on their own whether to go or not.. In my opinion, you can not visit, instead you can go to Beylerbey, the cost is 1200 rubles, although in November the exterior facade is hidden, under restoration, but inside you can also get acquainted with the decoration of the palace.
As fans of the TV series "Magnificent Century", we just couldn't help but go to the TopCaps. We really liked it, but it's important to calculate the time. The territory is simply huge, there are many museums and places to visit in general. We spent about 5 hours in total! And so the palace is a must-visit!!!
It is grandiose, interesting, beautiful and informative. The audio guide was enough for me and I read a little on the Internet. With a huge number of visitors, there was practically no congestion. It is not necessary to put little time into planning a visit. It is better to inspect without haste, because there is a lot.
I went there and fell in love at first sight. A must-visit, although very expensive. I was on August 23, the queues are certainly large for tickets and an audio guide (for free when buying a ticket with a harem), a harem is 40 percent beauty, so don't spare the money, go!
It's nice to immerse yourself in Ottoman history! Those who watched the magnificent century in triplets are more interesting and exciting. To see their gardens, numerous rooms, balconies, courtyards is wonderful! Even the crowds of people and queues at some rooms and museums did not spoil the experience! I definitely recommend it!
Everyone should visit here!! Everything is steeped in history! Very beautiful, wonderful museums! Be sure to take the audio guide, it's free! The territory is comfortable, there are many toilets, there is a place to sit, relax, have a snack, drink coffee.
A very interesting museum. The Ottomans did not spare gold for themselves.
By the way, the watch is Russian. In general, it is a very atmospheric place, a must-visit.
I was not impressed, there were huge queues for tickets (for such a price, we could put umbrellas so that it would not be so hot to wait). The palace itself is not impressed, it is quite monotonous. At the end there is only a beautiful fountain and walls. It's not worth it for such a price (1,500 lire per person).
a very beautiful and magnificent museum in everything. Here you can really walk from morning to evening. My wife and I came here for two days - sometimes just to the museum, then to the church of Irina, then to the harem, then to the archaeological museum. As a result, there is a sea, even an ocean, of impressions. I'm not talking about all the photos that were taken on the territory of this museum. Crowds of people certainly interfere with a few, but they also wanted to see the whole museum. Be sure to come back next time and take a walk in the museum.
A large area with a mosque, museums and a harem. There are a lot of interesting and informative things. Plan more time and take a snack with you: nuts, snacks, water.
Very atmospheric place! Chic, wealth, beauty and variety of jewelry, decoration, beautiful territory. Interesting expositions and buildings. Everything deserves attention. Only here the ticket price bites 950 Turkish lira, which is about 3,500 rubles.
History was made in this palace. Impressed by the place!
I didn't like the audio guide. They give out a simple smartphone with an application. There is too much music in the stories "and now listen to such and such a work by such and such an author, which is so and so" and the composition starts for 3 minutes out of 4 allotted to the story about a specific point. The application really lacks a map with a built route or route options. The tour number is not indicated everywhere at the entrance to the new zone. In the current format, the walk is chaotic.
In my opinion, it is always interesting to touch history, to try to look into the depths of centuries. And if you are lucky with a guide, then you have hit the Jackpot) a fascinating story against the background of beautiful architecture will not leave anyone indifferent.
A large beautiful palace with a long history, everything pleases the eye, it is clear that many things are well maintained and restored. The best time to visit since the beginning of the opening, there are practically no people and you can admire the beauty without prying eyes, was at the end of November. For such beauty, the price tag is more than humane.
There is something to see, but the scale has failed: Peterhof is much bigger and more interesting. But comparing Europe and Asia is a thankless task. It was interesting
A stunning palace and, of course, a grandiose monument of the great era of the Ottoman Empire. This monument of architecture and history will not leave anyone indifferent and will give you a lot of unforgettable impressions, plunging headlong into the atmosphere of the era of the great sultans. If you look at the palace, then this one, the later ones, of course, no longer reflect the identity of the Ottomans and have too Europeanized style.
Getting to know another culture always gives you a lot of new experiences and discoveries.
A complex of several buildings with various exhibits,
You can admire the beautiful views of the city and the Bosphorus
Everything is old, of course recognizable by the cult series. But up close, of course, it's not as lush as I thought. Original or authentic original buildings, ponds, lawns. I recommend the sultan's summer houses and be sure to take a look at the royal treasury. The size of the jewels is amazing. It is not likely that sultans and their wives or anyone else decorated themselves with all this. Entrance is paid, but I assure you, it's worth seeing and feeling something.
A huge territory with various thematic content.
A mixture of museum expositions and the historical sites themselves.
It is worth looking around carefully - you should not throw a coin "for memory" into the fountain of tears, a twofold memory.
Be sure to visit. A large complex of buildings and parks. Cons: the entrance is quite expensive. There are a lot of tourists in the season: it's crowded, you can't take an audio guide because of the queue (there's no point without it)
The entrance for foreign tourists is expensive (1,500 liras per person), but do not spare this money, the palace is very beautiful, you can spend almost the whole day there! There are many expositions, very clean and well maintained, interesting
There are more disadvantages, on weekends and holidays and good weather, queues everywhere on the territory starting from the ticket offices and a lot of people, just a lot. There are audio guides, maps of the world and dollars, they do not take euros, only lira. About 40 euros per person. And the crush!!!
A huge palace with colossal historical value! You can disappear there for the whole day! However, the price bites 1,500 lire per person!

It is definitely worth visiting, the place is iconic and epic. We were in August, the ticket cost 1500 rubles / check for an adult (about 5 rubles), a 10-year-old child, in my opinion 250 rubles (with a child's ticket up to 8 years old, it seems, and with a birth certificate, but somehow we were lucky, apparently the cashier got such a one). The queue is large, but only at first glance: there are a lot of ticket offices and they move quickly, they passed in just 5 minutes. But further, closer to the entrance, the queue for a free guide (a simple smartphone without headphones) already lasted 20-30 minutes. You can get it in exchange for a passport / 100 $ or € / 2000lir, I gave different money)) When you leave the complex, first there is a separate window to exchange back, quickly. The complex itself is large, there are many objects, it is interesting to get around with breaks of about 2.5-3 hours. There are no cafes, there is nowhere to eat and buy water too, so do not forget to take it with you. Well, they don't need to be here. It's probably better to come in the morning, we arrived at 12.00, there were already a lot of people, and when we left it became even more, apparently the peak, when everyone comes, is lunchtime.
I took off the star for the price, now it seems to have grown even more, well, where to look at whales ... but the audio guide will not give complete information (at first it still has some kind, but then, more than half of the objects, there was no information or in another language and we just walked and stared). And you have to go here either with a guide or as part of an excursion, then I'm sure it will be much more interesting and informative, but it's even more expensive…
A wonderful place for walking, half-day excursions for sure! You won't notice how time flies by. The only thing that is not very good is huge queues, at the cash register, on the territory, inside, to go in to see how the sultans lived, you will also have to stand in line. But the place is worth queuing up and visiting!
The palace is beautiful! Especially the territory and the harem ! We walked for 4 hours ! There are many historical moments! Fountains!

Let's start writing an HONEST review.
Positive :
-a gorgeous and beautiful historical place!
- Fans of the Magnificent Century series will definitely like the history of these places.
- Clean compared to the city.
-everything is guarded and safe
-free audio guide.
Minuses :
-The audio guide is just an old speakerphone. No headphones, etc.
- IT'S IMPORTANT! Everything closes at 13:00
Be sure to come at 9-10 am! Otherwise, you'll just spend the money. A lot of people were not warned about this and came in after 12 and did not have time to go anywhere. They tried to return the money (I don't know the outcome?)
. You shouldn't take a ticket to St. Irene. There's only one room and the walls are just bare.
Tip: people don't understand how they defend queues. So just go ahead :)
Don't buy a combo ticket to three places. But separately. Audio guide it is better to order a person because the audio is terrible)
Well, you definitely need to come at 9-10 in the morning
An incredibly beautiful place with its own special atmosphere and a wonderful view of the Bosphorus. Come to the opening (10:00) to enjoy the silence, by 11:00 there are already crowds of tourists here. I bought a single ticket (palace and harem) for 950 lire, but I could do with a ticket for 750 lire, since the harem is certainly beautiful, but it is not obligatory to visit at all. It took about 2.5 hours to walk around the entire complex, during which time I visited all the main objects and almost all the exhibitions.
It was incredibly interesting to plunge into the atmosphere of the Ottoman Empire. He especially responds after watching the TV series "The Magnificent Century". The ticket is expensive, fifteen hundred lire for adult visitors. We went with the children. Gorgeous views of the Bosphorus.
The Hermitage of Istanbul.
It is worth going if the price of an entrance ticket to the territory of the palace complex does not bother. About 5,200 rubles.
My father is interesting. Spectacular. A beautiful palace. There are many locations for photos. Beautiful view of the sea. You can take photos everywhere. There are halls with Relics.
It's a wonderful place. It's nice to touch the story. The sensational TV series "Magnificent Century" was not filmed here, they built the same scenery. The entrance for foreigners is 1,500 lire (for locals 250 lire), it includes the Topkapi Palace, the Harem and the former St. Peter's Church.Irina. Expect to spend 3-4 hours on a visit.
It will take half a day to pass the palace) study the history in advance. You can take an audio guide, for a fee, you leave your passport as a deposit. It is better to come in advance, then there are fewer people. There are long queues, but they pass quickly
The entrance costs 1,500 lire, which is so expensive for me.
A beautiful territory, a palace, many exhibits of clothes and weapons are presented.
It is necessary to lay 3-4 hours for a visit.
